Anyway, onto what I’ve been thinking about this week. I love this one.

Progress goes where energy flows.

The best way to create more progress in the areas that are important to you is to funnel more energy into them.

The areas constantly change and evolve over time in the world of entrepreneurship.

The same is true for the areas that influencers in my program have.

That’s just part of the journey.

Staying “loyal” to a set of areas throughout the decades of your life will determine how successful you become in the long term.

INFLUENCER GROWTH PROGRAM

The program for example has been an area that I’ve been constantly funneling time, energy, and serious resources to.

Can it be better?

Of course.

How are we making it better?

Every single week we devote our time and energy to make sure that every single member has a wonderful experience.

I don’t know what area you’ve been funneling your energy to, but this week you might want to consider doubling down on that.

THINGS I’VE LEARNED

1.
Change the incentives, change the outcome.

“33% of British criminals were dying en route to Australia in the 1700s.

Britain switched from paying sea captains for every passenger who walked on the ship to paying them for every passenger who walked off.

Immediately, the survival rate shot up to 99%.” — George Mack

Happiness is reality minus expectations.

“In a culture that glorifies endless acquisition, declaring ‘I’m satisfied’ is revolutionary.

Happiness isn’t a higher salary but finding peace with where you are.

When was the last time you felt you had enough?”

GROW YOUR INFLUENCE

Perspective can be the difference between succeeding in this decade of your life and taking 2 or 3 more decades.

The same thing can be at the same time the most empowering and the most disempowering thing in the world.

It all depends on how you see it.

One of my favorite ones is the following

“Nobody is thinking about you. They’re too busy thinking of themselves.”

Some people get super defensive when they listen to it.

Others find it the most empowering fact and take the risk they normally wouldn’t.

Keeping the perspective that empowers you the most with your goals is something that I like practicing every day.
