TIL: growth, illness & consistency
Some influencers in the program get stuck on growth.
Others get significant likes (thousands and thousands on every post) but get stuck on monetization.
Few forget the basics and end up starting over after a few months.
Even if you knew how to get 10K followers or a $10K deal today, would it matter if you weren’t healthy?
I talked for yet another time to an influencer who ignored her sleep last week.
Some days she slept only 4 hours, other days 6.
She felt constantly fuzzy-headed and confidence was low.
It’s hard to make progress if you forget what makes you feel and perform well.
Focus on what’s important.
THINGS I’VE LEARNED
1.
If you think wellness is expensive, try illness.
If you think becoming a successful creator is expensive, try being a broke creator.
If you think investing in your knowledge is costly, try living the rest of your life on minimum wage.
2.
Success X Consistency.
Consistency won’t guarantee success. But not being consistent, guarantees that you will not be successful.
GROW YOUR INFLUENCE
Getting paid to work with brands is like getting paid to own a brand.
It doesn’t happen all at once.
You have to do it bit by bit.
If you want brands to notice you and work with you, you need to start by doing things step by step.
No matter where you are in your journey, making the first 3 seconds of your content better and better is always a good idea.
Concentrate on the important stuff.
