TIL: life transitions, Nietzsche & IG

Going through life transitions is hard.

In my opinion, one of the hardest things in life.

There’s a reason why:
– most gym memberships are used only a couple of times in the first month
– most businesses fail within the first 5 years
– even most new marriages end with a divorce

“Every beginning is hard.”

It’s a widely known truth.

Yet people tend to give up when things get hard in the beginning.

I’ve experienced two big business transitions ever since I made my clothing brand an automated and scalable asset.

> The first one was when I invested in 3 mobile apps.

In 2020, things were going quite well, and I believed I could achieve anything I set my mind to.

The lesson that when you spread yourself too thin bad things happen was much needed.

I lost well over $30K and 18 months of focus that I could funnel somewhere that was already working.

> The second one was when I decided to stop just managing my influencer program and got into the trenches with my influencers.

Even though I couldn’t help every single influencer in my program grow and monetize their digital presence in a scalable way, I knew that I could change one life at a time.

Was it easy? No.

Was it worth it? Absolutely.

I am not just a fortunate guy who had +5,000 new and upcoming influencers join his program. I am fortunate enough to have worked with some of the brightest creators I have encountered.

Nietzsche Was Ahead Of His Time

Women have more brain cells than men

Women not only have more brain cells than men.

Women have more brain cells in the gray matter.

They have an increased capacity to process information.

GROW YOUR INFLUENCE

Social media has been created to help us become more social.

They have helped a lot with width. Meeting more people.

Have they helped us in depth? Knowing people more.

Well, video calls have made things better but something that has served me extremely well is the following.

“Staying connected on IG” tends to kill relationships.

I try to stay in touch via meaningful calls with winners when I find them.

If you find an interesting person, ask them out for a “digital coffee”. Continue this conversation. Get to know each other in depth.

Opportunities will appear and you will not even notice it.
